Dr. Lena Phu

Meet the Director of Pediatric Eye Care and Vision Therapy, Dr. Lena Phu. Dr. Phu is a residency-trained neuro-developmental optometrist who specializes in primary care, pediatrics, vision therapy and myopia management. Dr. Phu earned her Bachelors in Biology at the University of Florida. She then completed an additional Bachelors in Vision Science while earning her Doctorate of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. Afterwards, she pursued her passion for treating children with a residency in primary care with an emphasis in pediatrics and binocular vision. Her advanced training enables her to work with patients of all ages and learning capabilities. Dr. Phu's functional assessment of the visual system allows her to detect and treat vision conditions such as strabismus, amblyopia, and binocular dysfunction. She also has clinical interests in myopia management and sports vision. She strives to provide exceptional and compassionate patient care through communication, education, and teamwork. Dr. Phu loves treating and building relationships with patients of all ages. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, exploring new food, and traveling around the world.
